How not to kill your Aloe Aristata

Don’t forget…

     Sharp but juicy

     Likes sun or partial shade

Every 7days in the summer and every 14 days in the winter. Make sure the top 1.5cm of soil is dry before watering.

Does well in a normal room environment.

Not toxic or harmful to humans or pets.

A little more…

      Can tolerate air conditioning.

Loves dry and well-drained soil. Add sand to improve the drainage.

During the growth period, you can feed it with some fertiliser. However, it doesn’t generally need it.

Once a year, use a container 2-5cm larger in diameter than the original pot.

But how do I know the exact amount of water to use?

Do not worry! We got you, the steps are easy. Here are the amounts:

  • Mini (Small) 100ml
  • Midi (Medium) 250ml
  • Lush (Large) 400ml

Firstly, fill a coffee mug with the amount suggested for your plant friend, use our water dropper to transfer the water from the mug to your stones. That’s it!

Common problems of Lace Aloe:

Problem: Leaves becoming soft, soggy and mushy

Cause: Overwatering.

Solution: To avoid this problem make sure you provide your Aloe with drainage and  use our dropper to water directly on the stones.

Problem: Dried brown leaf edges

Cause: Too much sunlight also known as ‘sun burn’.

Solution:To avoid this, make sure your plant is in a bright spot but protected from direct sun (only needs 6 hours).
